President Trump Welcomes Relatives of Shot Guard Soldiers to the White House

Former President Donald Trump revealed on the weekend that he has extended an invitation the family of a National Guard member tragically killed last week to come to the presidential home.

He mentioned that he conversed with her family and they were “deeply grieving”.

Details on the Heartbreaking Event

Soldier Beckstrom, 20, was fatally shot in a attack on last Wednesday in DC.

Her colleague, Andrew Wolfe, 24, is still in the hospital in serious condition.

Vigils across the state have taken place in their memory.

Presidential Call

The commander-in-chief explained he’s discussed a visit to the White House for the families of both individuals of the West Virginia National Guard.

“I told them: ‘When you’re ready, because that’s a tough thing, come to the White House. We’re going to pay tribute to her,” Trump informed journalists. “And in the same way with Andrew, whether he recovers or not.”

Public Response

Mourners assembled over the weekend at a local school in West Virginia to honor Sarah.

Both the soldiers had been working with the state guard as part of Trump’s government program to aid law enforcement in DC.

Paying Tribute to Beckstrom

“She was the individual that instructors wished for. She behaved with quiet strength, a contagious smile and a optimistic attitude that lifted people around her,” Jarrod Hankins, the leader of Beckstrom’s alma mater, told the press. “She was sweet, caring and always eager to support those in need.”

Service arrangements for Sarah are yet to be finalized.

Judicial Actions and Policy Revisions

Authorities have accused a twenty-nine-year-old Afghan national with one count of homicide and two counts of assault with intent to kill while carrying a weapon.

The tragedy led the administration to suspend asylum processing and halt issuing entry permits to possessors of passports from Afghanistan.

Status of Andrew Wolfe

Wolfe, a resident of the city, began his service in 2019 and is a 2019 graduate of Musselman high school, per the Associated Press.

He continues to receive treatment and is “battling to survive”, the state’s governor the governor said on Fox News Channel’s The Sunday Briefing.

Attorney general Bondi informed Fox News Sunday that she aimed to speak to his relatives.

Impact of the Fallen Soldier

Beckstrom, from her hometown, graduated from Webster County High in 2023 and joined the military shortly after, serving as a military police officer with excellence, according to the West Virginia National Guard.

“She had a lot of goodness and she certainly had fortitude,” Morrisey addressed the crowd at the service. “Though her time lasted far too short, she has left a mark that’s going to be remembered always.”
